The short version. I was born in Stockholm, Sweden. After studying philosophy at Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and Uppsala University, I went on to do a PhD at Uppsala. I have held postdoc appointments in the philosophy departments at the University of Turku (funded by the Academy of Finland) and at Uppsala (funded by the Swedish Research Council). I have also been a visiting lecturer at UCLA, where I have taught undergraduate classes, as well as graduate seminars. Currently, I’m a research fellow at the Turku Institute for Advanced Studies.
