I’m a research fellow at the Turku Institute for Advanced Studies and in the Philosophy Department at the University of Turku. My philosophical interests lie at the intersection of metaphysics, philosophy of mind and action, and ethics. That is why I feel at home in early modern philosophy, where thinkers such as Descartes, Spinoza, and Leibniz try to develop a comprehensive understanding of the universe and our place in it as agents and thinkers. So far, I have mainly worked on Leibniz and my current project concerns the metaphysical foundations of his ethical thought.
