I’m a Senior Researcher in philosophy at the University of Oulu, and I’m also an affiliated researcher in philosophy at the University of Turku. My philosophical interests lie at the intersection of metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics. This is why I feel at home in early modern philosophy, where thinkers such as Descartes, Spinoza, and Leibniz try to develop a comprehensive understanding of the universe and our place in it as agents and thinkers.

In addition to my specialization in early modern philosophy, I have a broad competence in both the history of philosophy and contemporary philosophy, including Kant, ancient and medieval philosophy, metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, philosophy of mind and action.
